Circle of Virtues

Operating a local cannabis dispensary means that we take responsibility for providing impeccable service.

Our staff is dedicated to that aim and our producers trust us to offer their products to you.

From the ancient Greek philosophers to contemporary thinkers, humans have tried to capture the essence of our better angels by adopting virtuous behavior. Benjamin Franklin describes, in his autobiography, his daily practice of exercising virtues to make them habitual.

We’ve identified virtues that we want in our daily lives. You’ll see them on displays and signs in the store, in advertisements, and certainly, you should experience these virtues in interactions with us.

We invite you to participate by using our virtue badges on social media and on personal items. Ask any budtender about them and collect your badges today.

Love is the ingredient that goes into everything we do.

We want you to feel Love the minute you think about Mercy Wellness and when you step into the store. It’s so important that we assigned it to our customer loyalty program, called Mercy Love.

Every time you shop at Mercy Wellness you’ll experience the Love, and you’ll receive Love rewards for shopping with us.

Imagine how wonderful the world would be if you know there is at least one place you can go to feel the Love of folks who are glad you visited. That’s Mercy Wellness.

Generosity is a virtue that Sonoma County residents exhibit in record numbers. We have more nonprofits than most places and support causes near and dear to us.

Mercy Wellness is committed to giving to causes that our staff, suppliers, and customers want to support.

From time to time we’ll announce special events whereby we’ll donate a percentage of sales to nonprofits. This way all of our stakeholders, customers, staff, and producers get to participate together to make a difference in our community.

Compassion is defined as “Sympathetic awareness of others’ distress together with a desire to alleviate it.” This is at the heart of the cannabis industry.

So much of the progress that the cannabis world has achieved over the past decades has been dependent on compassion for people suffering all variety of illnesses.

Our staff will treat you with compassion and make sure your needs are taken to heart.

Anyone who has ever relieved a sour mood by instead paying attention to all the things in your life for which you can be grateful can attest to the power of this virtue to transform your mood.

We’re grateful that we live in a place that has embraced your right to consume cannabis and has given us the right to provide it for you.

Mercy staff will tell you how much they appreciate you every time they see you. We hope the feeling is mutual. Just smile when you see us and we’ll respond with a grateful smile back.

Friendly, helpful, and well-intentioned is how we usually describe this virtue. It’s such a common expectation that its absence is immediately obvious.

The Mercy Wellness staff knows that kindness starts with how they treat one another. Greeting our customers with kindness is a natural extension.

Kindness is that virtue that most people think of as common decency; giving people the benefit of doubt before we rush to judgment; just delivering an act of kindness is about the most generous thing you can do. Mercy is committed to extending kindness in all our interactions.
